Have you ever been to a temple to make a wish for yourself?

As we all know, Buddhism has been developed in China for thousands of years. Although Buddhism is not our native religion, it has declined and flourished many times in history. But nowadays, temples can be seen almost everywhere, some are newly built and some are preserved from ancient times.

Besides visiting temples, we often ask for a sign and make a wish for ourselves. In Wuhan City, Hubei Province, China, there is a very effective temple called Guiyuan Temple. Visitors here usually tell their fortune. I don't ask the monks in the temple to sign, and I don't count by a special fortune teller, but I can tell my own fortune.

Guiyuan Temple is located in Guiyuan Temple Road, Hanyang, Wuhan. Built in the early Qing Dynasty, it has been less than 400 years. There is a saying in the Buddhist scriptures: there are two ways to return to the original, and there are many convenient ways. The name of Guiyuan Temple is taken from this sentence. Besides, Guiyuan Temple, Gude Temple, Lianxi Temple and Baotong Temple all belong to Wuhan Buddhism? Four jungles? .

As for fortune telling, there is a Luohan Hall in Guiyuan Temple, and the layout is very reasonable. Although there are more than 500 arhats, it is not crowded to come here. Every arhat here is carved to life. Visitors can count from any arhat until their age, and then guess their fortune according to the expression, movement and identity of that arhat.

So many tourists who come to Guiyuan Temple will go to Luohantang to count for themselves. Moreover, the method is also very simple, and it will not stick to the number of ways and means. Now, counting arhats has become an interesting local custom. In addition, each arhat has its corresponding card with different characters written on it. However, everyone's experience and life are different. And their understanding of this is different.

Apart from Luohantang, the Sutra Pavilion is the main building of Guiyuan Temple. It is mainly made of brick and wood, 25 meters high and contains many precious Buddhist scriptures. Today, Guiyuan Temple has also become a 4A-level scenic spot, but the ticket only needs 10 yuan. Because of this unusual way of praying, it is also called the most effective temple in China.
