Hunan opera
Xiang opera is the most important local opera in Hunan Province, generally known as the Great Drama Team, Changsha Team or Xiangtan Team. There are many kinds of vocal cavity in xiang opera, such as Kunqu Opera, Gaoqu Opera, Tanqu Opera and Zaju Minor. From the early Ming Dynasty to, Kunqu Opera and Yiyang Opera introduced into Hunan were combined with local dialects and folk music to form xiang opera.
Xiang opera is mainly popular in Changsha and Xiangtan, mainly in the "Twelve Genus of Changsha Prefecture", namely Changsha, Xiangyin, Liling, Xiangtan, Xiangxiang, Ningxiang, Yiyang, Youxian, Anhua and Chaling.
Qi opera
Qi Opera, also known as Qiyang Team, was called "Qiyang Opera" in the early years of the Republic of China, and it was named after its formation in Qiyang. Qi Opera was introduced into Qiyang in the early Ming Dynasty, and gradually formed after it was merged with local art.
Qi Opera is widely distributed except Hengyang, Shaoyang, Yongzhou, Chenzhou and Huaihua in Hunan.
Chenhege theatre
Michael Chen opera originated from the entertainment of local witches, Nuo and Taoism, and gradually evolved. It is an ancient local opera, which is called the "living fossil" of China opera by foreign academic circles.
It is mainly popular in the vast areas in the upper and middle reaches of Yuanshui River, including Huaihua area and Xiangxi Tujia and Miao Autonomous Prefecture.
Hengyang xiang opera
Xiang opera, Hengyang, was first named after the class club, and was called "Hengzhou Team" or "Hengzhou Grand Troupe" by the people. Xiang opera's performing arts in Hengyang are also divided into three different performing styles according to Gao Qiang, Kun Qiang and Yan Qiang.

Changde Han Opera, centered on Changde, Taoyuan, Hanshou, Shimen and Cili, is popular in West Dongting Lake, Huaihua and Xiangxi Tujia and Miao Autonomous Prefecture.
Baling opera
Baling Opera, formerly known as Baxiang Opera, is a local opera. Yueyang was called Baling in ancient times, named after Baling dramatist came from here, and it is also called Yuezhou class among the people. 1952 was named Baling Opera. The stage language is Zhongzhou Huyun Guangyin combined with Xiangbei dialect.
At the end of the Qing Dynasty and the beginning of the Republic of China, Baling Opera was popular in Yueyang, Xiangyin, Miluo, Pingjiang, Linxiang and Huarong in northern Hunan.
Xiang Kun
Kunqu opera was introduced into Hunan and deeply rooted. Guiyang Prefecture (now several counties around Guiyang County, Chenzhou City) was the most professional Kunqu Opera at that time, so Kunqu Opera was also called "Guiyang Kunqu Opera". After a long period of evolution and development, combined with the life language and folk music of southern Hunan, Guiyang Kunqu opera with strong local color was formed, which was called Xiang Kun in 1950s.
Xiang Kun is popular in Guiyang, Jiahe, Xintian, Ningyuan, Lanshan, Linwu, Yizhang, Suxian, Yongxing and Changning counties in southern Hunan.
Changsha ancient painting drama
Changsha ancient painting drama is a kind of folk drama formed and popular in the surrounding counties and cities of Changsha, with Changsha Mandarin as the unified stage language.
Changsha ancient painting drama is rooted in the folk, based on the vast rural areas and small market towns. Due to the differences in folk art, folk customs and local dialects, several art schools have been formed, such as Yiyang Road, Xihu Road, Ningxiang Road, Liling Road and Changsha Road.
