Stay-at-home mothers compete with working mothers in parenting skills. Who do you think is better?

I don't think these two kinds of mothers are comparable, because we can't solidify the concepts of working mothers and full-time mothers.

Probably, in our concept, we will think that working mothers are smart and capable, and may have some advanced educational ideas but have no time to implement them; And stay-at-home mothers only know the image of water, electricity, gas and coal around the stove in the housework shop. Although their ideas may not keep up with the development of the times, they can take care of their children by themselves. But in fact, many mothers have jumped out of our cognitive range, or they are not completely consistent with our inherent understanding.

I have met people who have worked hard in the workplace and educated their children politely; I have also met people who take care of a family at home full-time, arrange their daily lives in order and have a very harmonious parent-child relationship; I've seen women in the workplace who don't make progress, but live in a muddle, and the parent-child relationship is extremely poor; I have also met people who don't have to work, do housework or continue to enrich themselves. They spend all day at the mahjong table, not to mention educating the children.

Therefore, I think it is difficult to compare these two kinds of mothers if they are simply divided from the two dimensions of "full-time" and "workplace".

What's more, the concept of parenting is more important than parenting skills; With ideas, we will consciously cultivate and practice our various parenting abilities.
