When will the year-end bonus be issued at the end of the year?

The year-end bonus of employees will generally be paid from the end of 1 February to the beginning of1month every year. The year-end bonus is an incentive measure taken by the enterprise according to the company's profits and employees' personal performance. At present, there is no mandatory provision for year-end awards in China's laws, and the amount, time and form of year-end awards are generally adjusted by enterprises according to the situation. The total wages are composed of six parts, including hourly wages, piece-rate wages, bonuses, allowances and subsidies, overtime wages and wages paid under special circumstances. Bonus refers to the excess labor remuneration paid to employees and the labor remuneration for increasing income and reducing expenditure, including production award, saving award, labor competition award, incentive salary of institutions and other bonuses.

Article 34

Reasonable wages and salaries incurred by the enterprise are allowed to be deducted. The wages and salaries mentioned in the preceding paragraph refer to all cash or non-cash labor remuneration paid by an enterprise to its employees in each tax year, including basic wages, bonuses, allowances, subsidies, year-end salary increase, overtime pay and other expenses related to the employment or employment of employees. The basic social insurance premiums and housing accumulation funds paid by enterprises for employees in accordance with the scope and standards stipulated by the relevant competent departments of the State Council or the provincial people's government are allowed to be deducted.
