There are different ways to visit Yuanmingyuan for different types of tourists. For foreign tourists, Yuanmingyuan and Summer Palace are often two scenic spots on the same tourist route. You can enter the park from the east gate and visit the website. You can take it from the east gate. Visitors outside the park enter through the gate and may encounter some troubles in the ruins park (the roads in Yuanmingyuan are all built according to the water system, and sometimes they have to walk a long way). For local tourists, the parking lot at the East Gate of Yuanmingyuan is relatively large and suitable for parking. It is not convenient to park at the South Gate and Zaoyuan Gate. If you drive, it is recommended to start the tour from the east gate. The general tourist route can be considered from the Black Swan Scenic Area to the west, to Fuhai (boating), and then back, or to the west, to find a place with few people to rest.
