What is the winter constellation?

The constellation in winter is the brightest one in the whole day. Among them, the bright stars twinkle in various colors on a long cold night, as if to make up for the lack of sunshine this season.

Orion is the brightest of all constellations. Four stars form a rectangle, which stands upright in the south in our view. The red giant Betelgeuse is in the upper right corner and the blue Betelgeuse is in the lower left corner. The three bright stars in the middle of the rectangle became the hero's belt, while the three dark stars below became his sword. The one among the three dark stars is actually not a star, but the most beautiful nebula. The Orion Nebula is a wonder in the telescope.

Orion's belt leads the observer's eyes to Sirius in the south. This is the brightest star in the whole day. It belongs to Canis Canis. In the east of Orion, the equilateral triangle with Sirius and Betelgeuse is 1 equal star Nanhesan (Nanhesan). This star is located in the constellation canis minor.

Walking back along Orion's belt, we saw the V-shaped Pleiades cluster (I-Iyades), and then we went to the closer Pleiades cluster "Seven Sisters". Both are examples of open clusters, which we will discuss later. The Pleiades star cluster is in the head of Taurus, the bright red star Aldebaran is the bull's eye, and the other two bright stars in the east are the horns. Above these two stars is Auriga, and the yellow Capella is one of the three brightest stars in the northern hemisphere.

Taurus, Gemini and Cancer are the zodiac signs in this region. The ecliptic is the northernmost part of this area.

Gemini is also rectangular, with two bright stars Castor (North River II) and Pollux (North River III) at the eastern end. /kloc-Pluto discovered in 0/930 is in this constellation. Cancer, whose name represents the Tropic of Cancer, is not very bright. The most interesting part is the Praesepe cluster (ghost cluster), which looks like a cloud point to the naked eye. Telescopes can also see that it is an open cluster.

The winter constellation also includes a part of the Milky Way, which also makes the clear night sky more beautiful, although it is not as bright and moving as the part we saw in summer.
