Is there another explanation for posthumous title's Tao?

There are two ways to see if a person is a gentleman: one is to see if his friend (or partner, er, ugly but really means that) is a gentleman; The second is to see if he and his friends or associates can share joys and sorrows.

Who is He Lu's friend? Or who is He Lu's partner?

This should start with his appearance.

He Lu looks very star-like, because he is surrounded by a group of first-class stars and sits on the throne.

The first star is Wu Zixu.

Wu Zixu's bad debts in Wu originated from the contradiction between Fei Wuji and Prince Jian in the period of King Chu Ping. There are literary descriptions in Zuo Zhuan, Guoyu and Historical Records. After later literary works and dramas, this story has already been deeply rooted in people's hearts, and the image of Fei Wuji's courtiers has been finalized. Most of us believe that when Wu Zixu came to Wu with a deep hatred, he didn't think Wu Zixu was a talent who refused to reuse him, and Wu Zixu seemed to respect him. It was absurd of him to refuse to take over the fight against Chu, so He Lu got the chance.

Is that really the case?

There is no evidence to prove that Wu luxury and Yan Wang Jian are what Fei Wuji said, so it has always been said in history that Fei Wuji was afraid of falling out of favor and harmed Yan Wang Jian and Wu luxury. -Of course it's true. I believe that what Fei Wuji said contains a lot of selfishness; But Xiao Bai always thinks that this may not be the only reason. Are Prince Jian and Wu She really silly and pure? Not necessarily! At least from Wu Zixu to Wu's performance of being killed, Wu Zixu is definitely not a good boy who simply keeps morality. Besides, why did King Chu Ping just listen? Is it really just because of stupidity? Not necessarily! Fei Wuji's words should not be groundless.

If you look at the history of Chu, there are too many things that killed Wang Zili. For example, the king of Chu killed his own brother and started his own business. There is no conspiracy between the regicide self-reliant prince and his teachers, such as Shang Chen and Pan Chong's disciples.

So in any case, Fei Wuji's words played a role in King Chu Ping: he died of extravagance and obeyed. Wu Yuan, that is, Wu Zixu left Chu and went to Wu after many twists and turns.

Wu was chosen for two reasons. One is Wu Shang's instructions. "Zuo Zhuan" records: 250,000, I will die. I know, I can die, I can report.

The second reason may be that Wu Zixu thinks that Wu Can has avenged him.

Xiao Bai, what I want to add here is what happened after Wu became a tyrant. about

After Sun Tzu's success, there is no record of deeds in the history books. As for his retirement after his success, he died at the age of 75, that is, in 470 BC, and finally went to Suzhou, Wu and so on, that is just a legend.

But one thing is certain: Sun Wu no longer plays with He Lv, but becomes the Wu version. Wu Zixu, on the other hand, turned himself into a Wu version.

To sum up, Xiaobai saw him and his friend Lu, and drew two conclusions:

First, Wu Zixu and Zhuan Xu, friends of Lu, are definitely not gentlemen;

Second, whether Sun Wu is a gentleman, there are too few historical materials. It is not entirely clear whether he killed Ji Zhijun. However, Xiao Bai still has doubts; But in any case, Sun Wu didn't cooperate with He Lv in the end, which can explain some problems of He Lv.

Therefore, it is impossible for Xiao Bai to interpret the second meaning of Lu's "Tao". He Lu is a clever king of Wu, not a king who can be a moral benchmark.
