Tianjin IV (Deneb)/_d_n_b/ is the first-class star of Cygnus. It is also one of the endpoints of the Great Triangle and the Northern Cross in summer. It is the brightest star in Cygnus, one of the brightest stars known, and the 19 th bright star in the night sky. Tianjin IV is a blue and white Supergiant star with an average apparent magnitude of 1.25, which is the brightest first-class star in Betelgeuse IV.

However, due to the long distance, its brightness is 196 thousand times that of the sun, but it is little known. In Bayer nomenclature, its name is α Cygni (Latin for α Cygni, abbreviated Alpha Cyg or α Cyg). Ranked fourth among China star officials in Tianjin, hence the name.

Therefore, in South Africa, southern Australia and northern New Zealand, it can only appear on the horizon for a short time in winter.
