Will Polaris always belong to Alpha Ursa minor?

The point around the northern sky and the sky referred to by the North Pole of the Earth is called the North Celestial Pole. Alpha Ursa minor is just near the north celestial pole, so it won the title of "North Star". However, the title of Polaris will not always belong to Alpha Ursa minor. Astronomers predict that in about 12000 years, Vega will eventually replace Alpha Ursa minor as the new Polaris.
