How to judge the constellations in the night sky?

The constellations in the sky mainly include Ursa major, Ursa minor, Leo, Capricorn, Canis major, Virgo and Ursa major. Ursa major and Ursa minor, the Big Dipper: A part of Ursa major, consisting of five bright second-class stars and two third-class stars, in the shape of a spoon. The Big Dipper is equivalent to the waist and tail of Ursa major, in which four stars make up the bucket spoon and the other three stars make up the bucket handle.

Taurus is one of the zodiac signs. A V-shaped five-star is the face of a bull with two stars on it, which are long horns. One of the five stars on Taurus's face is very bright red. This star, known as Bi Suwu in ancient times, is one of the four heavenly kings.

Constellation refers to one of the indispensable components of astrology, and also refers to the combination of stars in the sky. Since ancient times, human beings have associated three or five stars with their mythical figures or artifacts, which are called "constellations". Constellation is a means to determine the orientation of the sky in almost all civilizations and is widely used in the field of navigation.

The division of constellations is completely artificial, and different civilizations have different divisions and names. Constellations have no uniform and precise boundaries. Until 1930, in order to unify the complicated constellation division, the International Astronomical Union divided the sky into 88 official constellations with precise boundaries, so that every star in the sky belonged to a specific constellation.

Most of these official constellations are based on ancient Greek myths handed down from the Middle Ages. In contrast, some widely circulated star combinations are not recognized as official constellations, such as the Big Dipper (see star list).
