In 2002, Wang Yichun began to write the screenplay What's in the Black. In 20 14, with the support of her business husband, she filmed this story at her own expense of 3 million. It took two months from preparation to shooting, and the actual shooting took 30 days. The film, co-starring Su Xiaotong, Lu Qiwei and Xiao Guo, tells the story of a bizarre rape and murder of a serial girl in the family area of an aircraft factory 199 1. The film was shortlisted in the new generation competition unit of the 66th Berlin Film Festival, and she won the Best Director Award of the 9th First Youth Film Festival and the Best Director Award of 1 China Film Festival.
