Wei Wei Yanyan (? ~234) was born in Yiyang (now Sanlidian, Xinyang, Henan). Famous soldiers of Shu and Han in the Three Kingdoms period. After Zhuge Liang's death, Wei Yan was framed for rebellion and killed by Yang Yi and his party. Shu Han is famous for its dragon. At the beginning, he fought side by side with Liu Bei and won the trust of Liu Bei. After Liu Bei became king, he was appointed as the satrap of Hanzhong. Later, Zhuge Liang made the Northern Expedition and became General Xi. He once suggested to Zhuge Liang that he should make a surprise attack on the Woods Valley in Chang 'an, but it was not adopted. Wei Yan, who was aloof and proud, deeply understood the righteousness and repeatedly made meritorious deeds, was especially relied on by Zhuge Liang in his later period. However, he is arrogant and rebellious (this "rebellion" is not a rebellion in the ancient sense, but a rebellion in the modern sense. For example, we will say that a child is quite rebellious), he is very confident in his ability, often complains, and does not know how to deal with interpersonal relationships in officialdom, which has offended many people, especially Yang Yi. After Zhuge Liang's death, because he didn't want to retreat, and he couldn't tolerate the military power falling into the hands of his old enemy Yang Yi, he violated Zhuge Liang's decree of withdrawing troops without authorization and led his army to burn the plank road and attack Yang Yi. In the end, he was wrongly accused of rebellion and suffered the tragic consequences of "three tribes of foreigners".
