Where is Jinling's old name?

Jinling is the ancient name of Nanjing. Nanjing used to have many names, such as Jinling, Jianye, Jiankang, Fuling, Baixia, Shengzhou, Jiangning, Qing Ji, Yingtian and Tianjin. Nanjing, the capital of Jiangsu Province, a sub-provincial city, the core city of Nanjing metropolitan area, the shipping and logistics center of yangtze river international, an important national gateway city driven by the radiation of the Yangtze River Delta, one of the four ancient capitals of China and an important birthplace of Chinese civilization. Known as "the ancient capital of the Six Dynasties" and "the capital of the Ten Dynasties", it has the reputation of "the literary hub in the world" and "the first study in the southeast". Located in the east of China, the lower reaches of the Yangtze River and coastal waters, and the southwest of Jiangsu Province, it has a subtropical monsoon climate. Famous scenic spots include Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum, Ming Mausoleum, Ming City Wall, Xuanwu Lake, Confucius Temple, Zijin Mountain and Jiming Temple.

In 472 BC, after the destruction of Wu by Gou Jian, King of Yue, Yuecheng was established in the trunk of Zhonghua Gate. This is the earliest famous city in the ancient capital Nanjing. In 333 BC, Yue was destroyed and the city was under construction, which was called Jinling. This is the origin of the famous "Jinling". Because there are allusions to burying gold in Zi Chu, Chu Weiwang buried gold in the river north of Lion Mountain.
