Memorabilia of Small Satellite Constellation for Monitoring and Predicting Environment and Disasters

1In April 1998, the governments of China, Iran, South Korea, Mongolia, Pakistan and Thailand signed the Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation in Multi-mission Small Satellite Projects and Related Activities in Bangkok.

2. On August 1 1, 2000, the Committee of China International Decade for Disaster Reduction, the State Environmental Protection Administration and China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation jointly submitted the Project Report on Building a Satellite Constellation for Disaster and Environmental Monitoring and Forecasting (ZZZ [2000] No.02) to the Commission of Science, Technology and Industry for National Defense.

On September 26th, 2002, the State Council approved the Request for Instructions on Establishing a Small Satellite Constellation for Monitoring and Forecasting Environment and Disasters (Guo Han [2002] No.561) jointly reported by the Commission of Science, Technology and Industry for National Defense, the State Planning Commission and the Ministry of Finance. Obviously, the small satellite A used for environmental and disaster monitoring and forecasting is also a multi-mission small satellite used for multilateral cooperation in the Asia-Pacific region.

On February/2, 2003, the Commission of Science, Technology and Industry for National Defense, the State Planning Commission and the Ministry of Finance jointly issued the Notice of the Commission of Science, Technology and Industry for National Defense, the State Planning Commission and the Ministry of Finance on Approving the Establishment of a Small Satellite Constellation for Monitoring and Forecasting Environment and Disasters (No.10 1).

5. On April 16, 2003, Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation, together with the National Disaster Reduction Committee and the State Environmental Protection Administration, organized a summary and preliminary sample review of the A/B satellite scheme for environmental and disaster monitoring and forecasting.

6. On July 8, 2003 17- 18, Division I of Systems Engineering of the Commission of Science, Technology and Industry for National Defense organized the first general coordination meeting and mobilization meeting of the small satellite constellation for environmental and disaster monitoring and prediction in Beijing.

7. In April 2005, China and Thailand signed the Ka subsystem interface file agreement.

8. On September 23rd, 2005, the State Council approved the Request for Instructions on Centralized Construction of China's Earth Observation Satellite Ground System, which was jointly reported by the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Science, Technology and Industry of the Commission of Science, Technology and Industry for National Defense and other departments and units. It is determined that the ground application system of environmental and disaster monitoring and forecasting small satellite adopts the working mode of building ground receiving and processing system and building environmental and disaster reduction application system respectively.

9. In May 2007, the National Development and Reform Commission approved the feasibility study report of ground receiving system, ground data processing and distribution system, operation management and disaster reduction application system and environmental application system. The construction of ground application system was officially started.

/10 2007 On April 26th, 2007, the First Division of Systems Engineering of the Commission of Science, Technology and Industry for National Defense organized the second overall coordination meeting of the small satellite project for environmental and disaster monitoring and prediction in Beijing.

11.On April 28th, 2007, Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation, together with the National Disaster Reduction Committee and the State Environmental Protection Administration, organized the development summary of the initial samples of the A/B satellite for environmental and disaster monitoring and forecasting and the review of the revised samples.

On June 12 and June 12, 2008, the State Bureau of Science, Technology and Industry for National Defense organized the third overall coordination meeting of A/B satellite project for environmental and disaster monitoring and forecasting in Beijing.

14, on July 8, 2008, Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation, together with the National Disaster Reduction Committee and the Ministry of Environmental Protection, jointly organized the factory review meeting of the Long March II C SMA Yao-1 carrier rocket.

On June 5438+05 and July 18, 2008, Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation, together with the National Disaster Reduction Committee and the Ministry of Environmental Protection, organized a factory review meeting of A/B satellite for environmental and disaster monitoring and forecasting.

16, July, 2008 19, the State Bureau of Science, Technology and Industry for National Defense organized a factory validation meeting to review and approve the delivery of Star Arrow.

On September 6, 2008, at 17 and125, the small satellite constellations A and B for environmental and disaster monitoring were successfully launched by CZ-2C/SMA rocket in Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center, which successfully entered the scheduled orbit, and then the work was transferred to the on-orbit testing stage.

18, February 2009 19, passed the on-orbit test review.

On March 30, 2009, the State Bureau of Science, Technology and Industry for National Defense organized the on-orbit delivery ceremony of environmental and disaster monitoring and forecasting small satellites A and B in Beijing. China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation and China Satellite Launch Measurement and Control System Department officially delivered the satellites to the Ministry of Civil Affairs and the Ministry of Environmental Protection for use.
