Evaluation of Pinsheng BP-4L High Capacity Lithium Ion Battery in Chengdu

I have no money and no leisure. It is because I value the low price and high playability of Nokia E63 that I fell at her feet. Because I like tossing, a piece of 1500mAh BP-4L obviously can't meet my needs. After reading the comments of sgl 1984 and Super Little Man, I first gave up the expensive original electricity (I saw that the bulk price of Beijing X and New X was 99 ... not bad a few days ago), but it was very popular. Hong Kong brand? M Ji also gave up because the heavy body shape would affect the closure of the back cover, so other products such as Fei X and Hong X were also flooded with fakes, and the packaging was very fake. So I started a Hong Fake Kong brand A Ji with good cost performance in Taobao, and the actual use effect was not bad. The standby time is half a day to one day less than the original power, and it feels that 1300mAh is available. Pinsheng, the leader of traditional digital batteries and accessories, will also enter the mobile phone charging market, so let's take a look at their things ~

Pinsheng BP-4L battery and charger

I received Pinsheng's battery on March 30th, and immediately took it apart for research.

Parameters of the front of the battery

According to the parameters, Pinsheng BP-4L is a lithium-ion battery with a nominal capacity of 1500mAh, a voltage of 3.7V and a charging voltage of 4.2V? The 0.05V recommended by GB/T 18287-2000 is much more detailed than the bare surface of the cottage machine.

Look at the charger again. In the past, there were many chargers with this side plug design, but most of them were not reliable and easy to loosen. The user stuck a phone card on the surface to hold down the battery below, which was embarrassing. Pinsheng's charger is also designed in this way, but there are four bayonets on the edge of the inner groove, which makes the battery stably clamped on it, which is more practical.

The indicator light will change from red to green when it is full.

Four bayonet ports

3C certification and other signs are complete.

The charger is actually the most critical item for the battery, because it directly determines the service life of the battery, and many people often ignore this point, choose some garbage chargers to flush the battery and then complain that the standby time of the mobile phone is short. There are detailed parameters behind Pinsheng's BP-4L charger. We can see that the input voltage is 100-240V~50/60Hz, and the maximum current is 150mA. That is to say, it can be used in places such as Japan where the voltage is 1 10V, without transformer conversion. The output battery terminal is turned off at 4.2V, and the charging current is 250mA. It is slow charging, and the charging time is at least 6 or 7 hours. Although it is not very convenient, it is good for battery life. In addition, it also supports USB charging, with a voltage of 5V and a current of 500mA.

Although there is a warning on the label that disassembly is forbidden, it is impossible to see the appearance without internal strength, so I peeled it off! After opening it, I feel that the winning products are very kind, and the materials and workmanship are not comparable to the cheap goods of 20 or 30 yuan. Not only a large number of SMD components are used on the back of PCB (but it is also a non-intelligent charger with discrete components), but also the capacitors and operational amplifiers on the front are brand goods (but they are basically made by road), which is similar to the charger with M 60 or 70 yuan, and still has a certain gap with my own smart charger modified with Samsung seat charger.

After the things were taken apart, the battery was measured. After unpacking, put it into the mobile phone, and monitor the discharge time through the power management software Energy Profiler. From the morning of March 3 1 day to the noon of April 2, the discharge cutoff voltage is 3.67V (the same is true for the following discharge cutoff voltages). When I got home, I started charging. I forgot to calculate the specific time. After charging at night, I started the first charge-discharge cycle. On the evening of April 5, because the cell phone crashed, the cell phone was restarted and the energy profiler continued to discharge. Discharge for 34 hours and 52 minutes, plus the previous three days, the total service time of * * * should exceed 100 hour.

The second charge lasted from 9: 30 to 3: 30 in the afternoon, just 6 hours, and the red light turned green. I felt that the time was a little short and might not be full. Later experiments also proved this conjecture. The second cycle begins on the afternoon of April 7th. I am very careful this time. I always check and start the process running in the background. Finally, I didn't crash and got the complete discharge diagram. I cheered a meter for 88 hours and more than 40 minutes, and discharged electricity 1337mAh.

I think this problem is caused by the charger, because the second and third charging time is exactly six hours, so I think Pinsheng's charger does not automatically judge the voltage to stop charging, but charges regularly. Look at a charging formula I found online:

When the charging current is greater than 15% of the battery capacity and less than or equal to 20%, the charging time (hours) = battery capacity (mAH)? 1.2? Charging current (mA)

Therefore, according to the parameters of the nameplate behind the charger, the charging time is at least 7 hours, and it will definitely be dissatisfied! Then it seems that I need a super invincible Samsung smart charger next time.

Finally, I'll show you my original battery and the comparison photos of A and Pinsheng BP-4L, which is the end ~
