How to fold a fan with paper

1. Prepare a square piece of paper with the size of 15cm* 15cm. Fold the diagonal of the paper in half and then unfold it.

2. Two opposite sides of the folded paper are folded in half towards the center line. Unfold paper.

3. Fold the four corners of the paper to the center line and flatten it.

4. Fold the paper in half along the center line and flatten it gently with your nails.

5. Clamp the fan bone on the center line of the origami, and then clamp the center with the index finger and thumb to fix the fan bone.

6. Fold the paper on the fan bone one by one.

7. When folding to the back, fix the fan bone on the last crease, and then gently flatten the whole fan with your nails.

8. Check whether each crease of the fan is flush, and make fine adjustments if necessary.

9. Finally, decorate your folding fan with creativity: you can draw patterns on the fan or use colored pens.
