Constellation domain

How many constellations are there?

There are five constellation areas, namely:

1. Archery constellations in the north: Ursa minor (closest to the north celestial pole), Ursa major, Cassiopeia, Draco and Cepheus.

2. Polaris constellation: Scorpio, Andromeda, Deer Leopard, Auriga, Canis Canis, Fox, Cygnus, Little Leo, Perseus, Shepherd, Five Immortals, Back Left, North Corona, Tmall, Lyra, Dolphin, Pegasus, Triangle (Small Constellation) and Sagittarius.

3. Zodiac: 12 constellations near the ecliptic on the celestial sphere, including Leo, Cancer, Gemini, Taurus, Aries, Sagittarius, Scorpio, Libra, Virgo, Pisces, Capricorn and Aquarius.

4. Zodiac sign: 10, including Gemini, Unicorn, Canis major, Canis minor, armpit, whale, Dajue, Southern Cross, Peacock and Ophiuchus.

Southern Constellation: A constellation from the south of the zodiac to the South Pole, including Tian Yan, flies, picture frames, long ruler, swordfish, clock, cuckoo, southern triangle, compass, dinosaur, telescope, Aquarius, southern cross, peacock tail, Antarctic wolf and Antarctic bear.

Generally speaking, the sky is divided into 88 regions with more than 3000 stars, of which 14745 stars are brighter than 6. Each region is named by a constellation.
