The protagonist of the festival is a bonfire 3 meters high, with more than 250 torches all over the roadside. Children are holding small torches, while adults are holding big fires weighing more than 80 kilograms. After 8 pm, people gathered at the mountain gate of Ma 'an Temple to pay homage to Yuqi Shrine. After that, young people marched along the street carrying two sedan chairs, and the festival activities reached a climax. The activity lasted until late at night and ended after zero.

As a place of worship, Yuqi Shrine is a representative building in Antu Taoshan period (1573-1598), and the fir trees growing in the shrine have a history of 800 years. The transportation mode of pommel horse fire festival takes about 15 minutes from JR Kyoto Station, then transfers to Ruishan Electric Railway Ruiyamamoto Line and pommel horse line at Chumachiyama Station for about 30 minutes, and then gets off at pommel horse station and walks there.
