The position of Sagittarius

Sagittarius is also a zodiac sign (Sagittarius is also called "Sagittarius" in the zodiac sign), and it can be found south from Altair of Aquila along the Milky Way on summer nights. Because the galactic center is in the direction of Sagittarius, this part of the galaxy is the widest and brightest.

Sagittarius is facing the center of the Milky Way, so there are many clusters and nebulae in it. Where the connecting line between σ and λ in Nandou doubles to the west, you can see a small cloud-like thing, which is actually a nebula. In the telescope, it is composed of three red dots, which is very beautiful and is called "trifid nebula". Sagittarius has many nebulae. For example, there is a horseshoe-shaped nebula in the north of bucket-handle μ star in Nandou, so it is called "horseshoe nebula".
