Liu Shaoyong, male, Han nationality,19581born in June, Xinyang, Henan Province, 1978 joined the work in February, 1977 joined China, and graduated from the 14th Air Force Aviation School (now Civil Aviation Flight Academy of China).

He is currently the general manager of China Eastern Airlines Group and the chairman of China Eastern Airlines Co., Ltd. He is a member of the 10th Shanghai Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC), a representative of the 18th CPC National Congress and the 11th National People's Congress. He also serves as a director of the International Air Transport Association (IATA) and the Association for Relations Across the Taiwan Strait.
