What is the structure of GPS satellite?

The GPS system is a constellation consisting of 24 satellites distributed in six orbital planes. The orbit height of GPS satellite is 20000km, and the satellite is equipped with 10- 13 high-precision atomic clock. There is a main control station and several monitoring stations on the ground, which regularly measure the precise position and time of the satellites in the constellation and send ephemeris information to the satellites. Users can determine their latitude, longitude, altitude and accurate time by receiving signals from more than four satellites at the same time through GPS receivers.

Russia has a similar system called GLONASS system. However, due to Russia's economic difficulties and short satellite life, it is impossible to maintain enough constellations, which affects its normal function.

Europe's Galileo system also belongs to the navigation satellite constellation, which may be launched in recent years.
