Constellations and galaxies

The relationship between constellations and galaxies ~ ~ ~ Constellations are only artificially divided areas from the perspective. Galaxies are real celestial structures.

For example, everything is clear. Think of your room as the earth. You sit in a room, and the window of that room is the whole sky. So your town (assuming the house is in a small town) is the Milky Way, so you might as well call it Yinhe Town.

If the glass of this window is divided into four squares, and you name it Fairy, Sagittarius, Bear and Orion according to the owner's strength, then the sky you see is divided into four constellations, called Andromeda, Sagittarius, Bear and Orion. The scenery seen through each pane of glass is definitely uncertain, so the image of each constellation is different. Assuming that a sleeping cat, a stool and an ancient tower can be clearly seen in the distance through the first pane of glass, we can say that Andromeda contains three main stars: the cat star, the stool star and the tower star, and other landscape details seen through this pane also belong to this constellation, such as another barely visible town. You may not know the name of the town next door (just moved to Yinhe Town _), but since you see it through the glass, it's called Fairy Town (our fairy galaxy is out! )。

When you are in Yinhe Town, you can only see the local scenery of the town (such as sleeping cats, stools and ancient pagodas), but you can't see the whole town from the window, so Yinhe is not a constellation, but a galaxy (town).

The 88 constellations in the actual sky can be understood as dividing the window into 88 grids, so each constellation contains both celestial bodies in the Milky Way and other galaxies outside the river (most galaxies outside the river can only be seen with astronomical telescopes), which is equivalent to seeing the scenery of the town and other nearby towns through the pane.

Finally, you ask which is bigger, constellation, nebula or galaxy? First of all, because constellations represent the general name of what is seen from the pane, nebulae and galaxies are concrete landscapes. So it is meaningless to compare the size of constellations with nebulae and galaxies.

Nebulae are interstellar dust masses, large and small, which can be regarded as open spaces, pools and streets in towns, so they must be smaller than the whole town, which means nebulae are smaller than galaxies.

Barely speaking, each constellation must contain countless galaxies (most of which can only be seen with extremely powerful telescopes). For example, you can see countless towns from every window glass (you can see other towns far below the horizon with an extremely powerful perspective telescope in your hand). From this point of view, it can also be said that the concept of constellation is bigger than that of galaxy.

Which is bigger, the Milky Way or the constellation? Galaxies are celestial systems, and the sizes of different galaxies vary greatly. For example, the radius of earth-moon system is only 38,4401km, while the radius of the Milky Way is 50,000 light years. Galaxy has actual size and apparent size (apparent size, expressed by apparent radius), and the apparent radius of galaxy is related to line radius and distance. Constellation is just an artificially divided area of the earth's sky for the convenience of observation. A constellation is just a * * * in a certain direction of the earth. Just look at the size, not the actual size. Galaxies like the Milky Way, even the nearest galaxy, only occupy a small part of the earth's sky, which is much smaller than the sky of a constellation, because the actual distance is particularly far, and the directions of different places on the earth are not very different. You raise your head and put a leaf in front of you. This leaf can occupy a large sky and many constellations! You ask such a question because you don't know the meaning of the constellation.

What is the relationship between nebulae, galaxies and constellations? Clusters, nebulae, constellations and galaxies are not the same series of concepts. Constellation is a way for the ancients to divide the sky regions. It is possible that a star in the constellation itself is a galaxy, but it looks like a star because it is too far away. Nebula is divided into gas nebula and galaxy nebula, which are different concepts. Regarding the structural level of the universe, it can be arranged according to its size: what is the relationship between the star system (such as the solar system), the nebula, the constellation and the galaxy? Can be arranged according to size: star systems (such as the solar system) find the constellation names of all galaxies! There are about 60 billion observable galaxies in the universe. You can search for words such as NASA, NGC and Mesnier on the Internet, and you can find thousands of galaxies.

Is the constellation big or the galaxy big? There is no comparability.

Constellation: the shape produced by the projection of some stars on the celestial sphere. These shapes look like this on earth, but they will change when seen in other parts of the universe. Most of the member stars in the constellation have no physical connection. The distance unit of the constellation is "square degree"

Galaxy: A celestial system consisting of hundreds of millions of stars, such as the Milky Way, Magellanic Cloud and Andromeda M3 1 galaxy. They are all relatively independent celestial systems, but each member star of each galaxy has a relatively strong physical connection (much stronger than the member stars in a constellation). The range of a galaxy is usually measured in diameter, and the unit is light years.

What galaxy do the twelve constellations belong to? How to check what your rising sign offers:

(Table 1)

Birth month parameter corresponding to the birth month.

1 06: 40

08: 43 February

March 10: 33

April 12: 35

May 14: 33

June 16: 36

July 18: 34

August 20, 36: 00

September 22, 38: 00

10 10 00: 37

165438+1October 02: 39

65438+February 04: 37

(Table 2)

Time calculated by the corresponding rising constellation

Shepherd 18: 00

Taurus 19: 29

Gemini 2 1: 1 1

Cancer 23: 13

Lion 0 1: 29

Virgin 03: 46

Balance 06: 00

Scorpio 08: 13

Shooter 10: 30

Capricorn 12: 46

Water bottle 14: 48

Pisces 16: 30

Calculation method: birth month parameter (see table 1)+ number of birthdays * 4+ birth time = calculation time (see table 2) to get the rising constellation.

Note: In the total, if it exceeds "60 points", it will be rounded to "hours". If it exceeds 24, subtract 24 directly and round it to "day".

Here's an example:

Your birthday is 65438+9 February at 9: 00 am, so your rising sign is:

04: 37 (the month of birth is 12, please refer to table 1).

+00: 36 (birthday number 9, uniformly multiplied by 4)

+09: 15 (date of birth)

――――――――――

= 13: 88 (because 88 is greater than 60 points, it should be rounded off)

( 14:28)

Then by comparing Table 2, we can know that your rising sign is Capricorn.

The time of birth must be accurate.

Theoretically, different rising constellations will create different shapes for you, but after the game in which the top ten planets meet in our birth chart, the pressure angle and harmonic angle will distort our original basic model at will.
