Can constellations really decide people's fate?
The answer is no, of course. Constellations have nothing to do with human destiny, and there is no scientific basis for predicting destiny with constellations.
The word "constellation" means that in order to identify many stars in the sky, the ancients combined the stars located close together. Such a group of stars is called a constellation. Around 3000 BC, the Babylonians in Cuba began to divide the constellations and named them. The constellation near the ecliptic is determined as 12, which is called Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, Capricorn, Aquarius and Pisces in turn. These names have been used to this day. At present, the international constellation system contains 88 constellations, each of which is a fixed range in the sky, just like every country on the map has a clear national border.
Astronomically speaking, the division of constellations is to facilitate the identification of stars, thus understanding the laws of celestial bodies and exploring the mysteries of the universe. Making a far-fetched connection between astrology and human destiny will obviously fall into the quagmire of idealism. Some "horoscope" books say that one day you will have good fortune, unexpected surprises, and be involved in disputes. Imagine that the world population has exceeded 6 billion, that is to say, each constellation belongs to no less than 500 million people. How can so many people who belong to the same constellation have the same experience every day?
As early as 1975, 186, famous astronomers and other scientists issued statements saying that astrology about "constellations determine people's fate" is deceptive. They also organized the establishment of the "Scientific Investigation Committee on Supernatural Phenomena" and published the publication Exploration. They made a statistical table and analyzed the birth dates of 16634 scientists and 6475 politicians. The result is that the possibility of a person becoming a politician or a scientist has nothing to do with his corresponding constellation.
Li Jing, a famous astronomical expert in China, once pointed out that the so-called constellation determines fate, and its essence is a kind of "foreign superstition." He believes that ancient astronomers in China believed that astrology determined the rise and fall of a country and the outcome of a war, but did not think that it had anything to do with individuals, while in the West, astrology was related to the fate of individuals. Modern astronomy has long proved that astrology can neither determine the rise and fall of a country, the success or failure of a war, nor affect the fate of individuals.
At present, many teenagers and adults believe that their fate is related to constellations. First of all, they lack scientific knowledge of constellations and correct world outlook. Secondly, because they come from European and American countries, some teenagers don't distinguish between western things and can't think rationally.
