Yuan Biao, formerly known as Xia Lingzhen, was named "Yuan Biao" after studying with Yu Zhanyuan, a famous Peking Opera artist. He studied acting at the China Theatre Academy, which he founded, and studied acting with the current kung fu superstars Jackie Chan (note: stage name Yuan Lu) and Sammo Hung (note: stage name Long Yuan).

At the age of 7, Yuan Biao's classmates followed Sammo Hung and Jackie Chan to study art in a drama school. Compared with the two brothers, Yuan Biao has a better figure and more elegant movements. Hong kong actor. Xia Lingzhen was born in Kowloon. At the age of seven, he entered the China Theatre Academy in Yu Zhanyuan to study Peking Opera, and took Yuan Biao as his stage name.
