The accident of Israel Airlines

1955 On July 27th, a Lockheed Super Constellation plane of Israel Airlines was shot down over Bulgaria, killing all passengers and crew on board.

1968, a passenger plane of Israel Airlines was hijacked by three members of the Palestine Liberation Organization, flew to Rome and then flew to Algiers. The negotiations lasted for more than 40 days, and finally all the hostages were released.

The most serious attack on Israel Airlines took place at the Lode Airport in Tel Aviv. 1972. At that time, Palestinian militants carried out bloody attacks here and fired indiscriminately at the waiting passengers, resulting in 26 deaths and 78 injuries.

On June 23, 2003, 10, an Israel Airlines Boeing 767 flew from Tel Aviv to Los Angeles via Toronto, then transferred to Montreal and then to Hamilton. The Royal Canadian Mounted Police stands guard at Hamilton Airport. The decision to divert the flight was due to "serious security threats", and the flight was suspected of being attacked by surface-to-air missiles on the way to Toronto airport.
