Can I make another wish after I finish my wish?
Can you continue to make a wish after making a wish? You can continue to make a wish after making a wish, but only if you pay back the money. There is generally no fixed time limit for this oath, but if you think your wish has come true, you can make it sometime. If you make a sincere wish, you will feel at ease when you finish it. Of course, if you are too busy or inconvenient, you can arrange relatives and friends to make wishes for you, but you can't bear to exchange conditions.
What are the consequences of not wishing after making a wish? Folklore says that wishing is actually a transaction, just a transaction between man and god. This kind of transaction is supervised by some rules in the dark. If you make a wish, you must pay it back, otherwise, disaster will come.
Buddhism says Buddhists don't make wishes. Buddhism says to make a wish. Generally, people who study Buddhism will learn from Buddha and Bodhisattva and make four wishes: "All beings have endless wishes, endless troubles, endless teachings, and the supremacy of Buddhism and Taoism." This is also a general wish, and it is also the wish of the ten buddhas before they became buddhas. Wishing is a secular saying. Buddha and Bodhisattva are merciful and take it as their duty to help all beings. Wishing seems to be an exchange of something with Buddha and Bodhisattva, which belittles Buddha and Bodhisattva. But Buddhists believe that wishing is a way for all beings to express their wishes, and it is not a bad thing. Therefore, temples will conform to all beings in this respect, and do not advocate or oppose it.
The taboo of wishing is to avoid wishing at the expense of others. The Buddha said that "all living beings have Buddha nature, and all living beings can become Buddhas". So the Buddha thinks that all beings are equal. How can he bear to watch one sentient being hurt another? Therefore, the desire to harm others and benefit themselves must not be committed, and at the same time it will not be worth the loss. As the saying goes, "Hold your head high three feet, there are gods", which also goes hand in hand.
Don't make selfish wishes. Buddha and Bodhisattva "do not seek happiness for themselves, and wish all beings to be free from suffering". They never consider themselves but only benefit all beings, so they are praised and admired by all beings. Although Buddhists are "responsive", their selfish wishes will not be reciprocated by Buddhists and Bodhisattvas. Because this desire runs counter to the Buddha's idea of "consciously feeling him, being selfish and altruistic".
