Hengshan Mountain, also known as Nanyue, Shouyue and Nanshan, is one of the "Five Mountains" in China. It is located in the southeast of central Hunan Province, China, between Hengyang and Xiangtan Basin. The main part is located in Nanyue District of Hengyang City, Hengshan County and the east of Hengyang County.

According to the Warring States Period "Shi Gan Jing", it was named Hengshan because it was located on the wing of the Twilight Star of the Twenty-eight Stars.

Representative attractions:

1, Zhu Rongfeng.

Zhurongfeng is the highest peak of Hengshan Mountain, and the peak of China commemorating Zhu Rong Stone, the ancestor of mankind. "The height of Zhurong Peak" is the first of the "four wonders" of Nanyue scenery. Because of the dense clouds and overlapping peaks all the year round, it stands in the relatively low-lying southern Hunan basin, which is even more majestic.

2. Tianzhu Peak.

Tianzhu Peak is one of the 72 peaks of Hengshan Mountain, with an altitude of 106 1 m, located in Yanshou Village, Nanyue Town. Looking up at the peaks from the foot of the mountain, there is a mountain peak in front of you, with two peaks on it, such as two pillars inserted into the sky.

3. Yan Hui Peak.

Yan Hui Peak is the first of 72 peaks in Hengshan Mountain in Nanyue, so it is called the first peak in Nanyue. It is 96.8 meters above sea level and covers a total area of 6.32 hectares. It is located on the bank of Xiangjiang River in Yanfeng District, Hengyang City. It is a municipal key cultural relics protection unit and a national AAA-level tourist attraction.

4. Shijie Peak.

Shifeng, commonly known as Lei Wandi, or Daling. On the stone wall on the east side, there are two inclined peaks, which look like towering rice warehouses from below. Thus, the legend surrounding this function appeared. Some people say that these two stone peaks not only look like rice warehouses, but also have two doors. There is a stone statue by the door, and the one that is closed is obviously locked.

5. Yuelu Mountain.

Yuelu Mountain is the tail peak of Nanyue 72 Peak, with an altitude of 300.8 meters. It combines the essence of China ancient culture-Confucianism, Buddhism and Taoism, and contains the cultural connotation of Yuelu Mountain developed by great thinkers, monks and poets in history.
