Can you add water to styrofoam?

No water is needed when making styrofoam. It dries when water needs to be added. Styrofoam is generally made of borax and transparent glue mixed with some pigments.

When making styrofoam, some white glue, transparent glue, borax, pigment and shower gel will be added. When mixed together, styrofoam will be more uniform. If water is added, styrofoam will become thinner and more sticky, so as long as styrofoam is not particularly dry, there is no need to add water.

Styrofoam will dry and harden if it is left for a long time, so it needs to be added with water. When adding water, don't add more at once, but try to add it bit by bit. If more water is added, styrofoam will not be easy to form.
