Nepal has elected a new living goddess "Living Goddess". In Nepalese, "living goddess" means "virgin" and is also called a living woman.

According to the regulations, the candidate girl must be extremely healthy, never sick or bleeding, without any spots or missing any teeth. In addition, only girls with 32 characteristics can enter the finals. For example, the neck is as bright as a shell, the body is as tall as a bodhi tree, the eyelashes are as sharp as cows, the legs are as straight as deer, the eyes and hair must be black and shiny, and the hands and feet must be slender and beautiful. Of course, to be a living goddess of all Nepalese people, one must be calm and fearless beyond ordinary people. As the protector of the kingdom of Nepal, her constellation must match the king. After the last few candidate girls are found, the selection committee must pass a series of rigorous tests to select a girl with superhuman ability and wisdom. Once the girl was chosen, she left the secular life, left the track of normal people, lived in the living goddess temple all day, and began her glorious and lonely life as a living goddess. Before 7 o'clock every morning, she must freshen up and put on the clothes of the living goddess with the help of her entourage. At nine o'clock in the morning, she must sit on the golden throne and accept the worship of the people. Then learn from the teacher. Finally, she can play games with her playmates at will. Every afternoon 12 and 4 o'clock, "Living Goddess" will appear in the window with her unique red clothes and silver ornaments for tourists to watch.

The "living goddess" will go out for a cruise on important festivals and meet believers at ordinary times. As a god, her words and deeds are regarded by admirers as a sign of good or bad luck. For example, if the living goddess laughs or shouts at the worshipper, the worshipper will be seriously ill or even die; If the living goddess looks gloomy and looks around, then there will definitely be a quarrel in the admirer's home; If the living goddess holds food with her fingers, the worshippers will lose money and so on. So in most cases, when the goddess meets someone, she must be expressionless and have no action. Of course, if the goddess looks directly at the worshiper, the worshiper will be happy for several days, because it will bring him good luck. She can't live with her family, even her parents can only visit her once in a while. Until puberty comes, the successor takes over. At this point, she must retire. What she can keep is a gold coin and a red dress she wore when she was in office.
