Liu Shishi began to learn ballet at the age of six. She studies ballet in primary and secondary schools of Beijing International Art School. In 2002, she was admitted to the ballet department of Beijing Dance Academy with her solid ballet skills. In 2004, Liu Shishi was still studying in Beijing Dance Academy. After seeing the general director of the play, Pingjiang Suojin, the crew immediately decided that Liu Shishi would play the heroine Ye Fenghe. It is said that at that time, in order to find a suitable actor to play Ye Fenghe, the director went to many schools such as Chinese Opera and Nortel, and picked many girls who could not meet the requirements. However, when I met Liu Shishi with her hands in her jeans pockets on campus, her unique natural purity and noble temperament, as well as her slightly melancholy eyes and slightly rising posture when talking to people, were very similar to Ye Fenghe in the play.
