First of all, I must say that the constellations in astrology are different from those in astronomy. In ancient times, astrologers and astronomers were always the same person, such as Ptolemy and Kepler. The latest change took place 400 years ago. After the invention of astronomical telescope, the twin brothers of astrology and astronomy began to go their separate ways. But both science and superstition are part of human civilization, which is undeniable (but in fact, I say this because I want to say that the constellations in astrology are not credible for the following reasons)

In the west of 700 BC, people drew the route of the sun on the celestial sphere on the day of summer solstice, and then drew the route of the sun on the day of winter solstice. The sky between the two lines is the zodiac. The imaginary line in the middle of the ecliptic is the ecliptic. The celestial sphere through which the ecliptic passes is artificially divided into twelve constellations, as I mentioned in the last paragraph. But what about Ophiuchus? In fact, Ophiuchus is the thirteenth house, but westerners think that the number 13 is unlucky. Snakes seduced Adam and Eve, so they hate snakes and think that everything related to snakes is bad. So keep Ophiuchus out and the zodiac becomes the zodiac.

If you look closely, you will find that there is no Aries in the modern zodiac. This is because Aries has left the ecliptic, the ecliptic no longer passes, and the vernal equinox has moved into Pisces, which means that Pisces has replaced Aries as the vernal equinox constellation. As for Aquarius, in Greek mythology, it is a fish that was poured out of the bottle by the beautiful young Gamini (the owner of Aquarius). It borders on Aquarius, and with the passage of time, it gradually moves to the ecliptic, sandwiched between Pisces and Aquarius.

Why the constellation moves is related to precession. There is an angle of 23.5 between the earth's axis of rotation and the zenith line, and the earth's axis of rotation revolves around Ping Huang once every 25,800 years, which leads to the precession of the stars in the sky (for example, 10000 years ago, the Southern Cross can be seen in Beijing, but it can't be seen today), and it moves (please ask me for a specific explanation).

As for what constellation you want to know, from an astronomical point of view, this is a mess. For example, Pisces began on March 2 1 day, and was originally in Cancer from summer solstice, but now it has moved to Gemini. If you are Aries, you are actually Pisces; If you are a cancer, you are actually a Gemini; Taurus is squeezed in the middle because of the series time, which is shorter than ancient times by more than a month; If you are a Pisces, you are actually a Pisces. Libra and Scorpio are much shorter than in ancient times, and Ophiuchus is empty in the middle. . . . . However, there is no need to look at it this way.
