Why is Jane Weijuan of Idle called Zhao?

Wei Weijuan's name is Zhao, which was translated by fans according to her Korean name.

(g) When the I-dle group first debuted, the Chinese names of the members were not given in time, so the translation team in China translated the Korean name (Cho Mi Yeon) into "Zhao" according to transliteration. Later, the Chinese names of members were mentioned in a live broadcast of (G)I-DLE, and "Zhao" personally wrote his Chinese name "Wei Weijuan" on the drawing board.

Early experience:

Yan Weijuan showed great interest in singing since she was a child. Her love of music was inspired by her father. Her parents soon realized her enthusiasm and sent her to a music school to learn various skills, such as violin, guitar and piano. I auditioned for YG Entertainment in middle school and worked as a trainee for 5 years.

I left YG because I thought my debut was hopeless. Wei Juan continued to pursue music. She entered a conservatory of music to strengthen her vocal music and learn to compose and make music. Wei Juan worked as an intern for about 8 years before becoming a member of (G)I-DLE.
