Is Scorpio really going to be kicked out of the zodiac?

Legend has it that Scorpio will be canceled or a new member of the constellation Ophiuchus. According to American media reports, with the International Astronomical Union redefining Pluto as a dwarf planet in 2006, it seems that nothing in this world is sacred. Amateur astronomer Mike simonson recently revealed that the American Astronomical Society recently held a meeting to discuss canceling Scorpio from the zodiac and replacing it with Ophiuchus.
