At 9: 43 on June 23rd, China successfully launched the 55th navigation satellite of Beidou system and the last global networking satellite of Beidou-3 in xichang satellite launch center by Long March 3B. Compared with the original plan, the deployment of Beidou-3 global system constellation was completed half a year ahead of schedule.

The satellite launched this time belongs to the geostationary orbit satellite. After a series of on-orbit tests, China will conduct the Beidou system-wide joint debugging test. Development course of Beidou satellite

1994, Beidou satellite navigation system started construction. In the past 20 years, China has organized 44 Beidou launch missions in xichang satellite launch center. Four Beidou-1 test satellites, 55 Beidou-2 and Beidou-3 networking satellites have been put into the predetermined orbit by using the Long March 3A series launch vehicles, and the mission success rate is 100%.
