Generally speaking, the tire replacement cycle is not frequent, but the tire is likely to be damaged due to the complex road surface. So which parts should I mainly check? Basically, we just need to check tire wear and tire pressure.

The first part is tire pressure. If the vehicle is equipped with tire pressure monitoring, it can be directly opened for inspection, otherwise it will cost tens of dollars to buy a tire pressure gauge. Generally speaking, the tire pressure is around 2.5bar, and the height of 0.2bar is not a big problem. Too high and too low should be dealt with. On the one hand, we buy our own tools to refuel, on the other hand, we can also find a repair shop to help them deal with them, and the price is also very affordable.

Secondly, we should observe the wear of tires. Here, we mainly observe the natural wear and tear of tires, and whether there is any damage caused by external reasons. Natural wear can be observed from the tire tread pattern. If the tire pattern has disappeared or reached the wear line mark marked by the manufacturer, then we'd better replace the tire. Generally speaking, the depth of the pattern stipulated by law is at least 1.6mm, so if you can't find the trace of the wear line, you might as well take a ruler to roughly measure it.

The damage caused by external reasons mainly depends on whether the tire has cracks and bulges. If the tire has cracks, then we say that the tire is "not so safe". At this time, we can decide whether to replace it according to the size and depth of the crack. If the tire is bulging, don't hesitate, please go directly to the relevant store to replace it.

Needless to say, the importance of the braking system, but not many car owners will really pay attention to whether there is a problem with the vehicle brakes. This is because the braking system includes not only brake discs and brake pads, but also brake fluid and internal calipers, pistons and ABS systems. Many people will feel that this is something they can't check and solve. But in fact, in our daily car, it is enough to check the brake pads and brake fluid.

The inspection of brake pads is very simple. Usually, there is a wear indicator on the pad. If you hear a harsh "squeak" sound when braking, it means that it needs to be replaced. Brake fluid inspection is also very simple. Just open the engine room and look at the brake fluid storage tank, which is not lower than the marking line. Generally speaking, when the brake fluid is low, the on-board instrument will also have a fault light.

Incidentally, generally speaking, the replacement cycle of brake discs is twice as long as that of brake pads, that is, most brake discs need to be replaced when the brake pads are replaced for the second time. Of course, this is not the golden rule. Therefore, it is recommended that you have the brake disc inspected by the maintenance master while replacing the brake pad, and replace it as needed.

If you maintain the vehicle in strict accordance with the requirements of the maintenance manual, you can basically ignore the oil inspection when traveling for a long time. However, if everyone's vehicle maintenance cycle is irregular, then I still suggest that you take some time to check the vehicle oil before going out to avoid problems halfway.

Engine oil inspection mainly includes engine oil, brake oil, gasoline and glass water. Maybe someone will laugh, but also check the gasoline? The answer is "need". Anyway, just get in the car and have a look. It's better to find no oil after getting on the highway than to check, right? We will introduce the inspection of remaining oil in turn. The first is the oil, which is usually located on the engine. Let's pull out the dipstick, clean it with a paper towel, put it back and pull it out again. If the liquid level is within the indicated range, it is normal.

Followed by brake oil, generally packed in plastic boxes, located near the cockpit, the color is mostly peanut oil, with marking lines on it, as long as it is normal within the range. Finally, glass water, also packed in plastic bottles, is mostly blue or pink, and there are also signs. As long as it is within the scope, it is normal. Regarding the addition of glass water, it is not recommended to add clean water or soapy water if possible, because if there are stains on the glass or the wiper is aging, clean water may cause the glass not to be cleaned.

Safety is never a trivial matter. Although similar popular science is a cliche, it is always a responsibility for yourself and the passengers on the bus to check before driving.
