The three corners in summer are Tianjin Four Stars, Vega and Altair. The west of the triangle is Vega, the east is Tianjin Four Stars, and the southeast is Altair. In the triangle, a brilliant galaxy is found, which extends outward from the triangle, spans the north and south, and divides into two forks. On summer nights, you can only see the Summer Triangle on cloudy days.

Looking up at the summer night sky, it is easy to see the three brightest main stars, namely Weaver Girl, Cowherd and Tianjin IV. Among them, the Cowherd and the Weaver Girl are separated by the banks of the Milky Way, and the Weaver Girl is a lonely one, while the Cowherd is accompanied by two slightly darker children in tandem. The most special thing is that the three stars on one side of the cowherd are just in a straight line, much like the legendary cowherd. The son is sitting in the bucket in front of the pole picked by the cowherd, and the daughter is sitting in the bucket at the back, which is very easy to identify.

So as long as a line is found to have a main star and two other companion stars, this main star is the cowherd. What's more, the four stars, daughter, cowherd, son and weaver girl, are almost in a straight line, which is very conspicuous.
