What award is the inspirational star?

The inspirational star is set up by the central and local governments to encourage poor students from ordinary undergraduate colleges, higher vocational schools and junior colleges to study hard, make progress diligently, develop morally, intellectually, physically and aesthetically, and award scholarships to poor students with excellent academic performance.

The national inspirational scholarship is jointly established by the central and local governments.

The reward targets are students from poor families with excellent academic performance in undergraduate colleges and higher vocational colleges. The amount of funding is 5,000 yuan per person per year, and the coverage of funding will reach 3% of the national college students.
