Zhai Zhigang, 1966 was born in Longjiang County, Qiqihar City, Heilongjiang Province. He used to be a fighter pilot of a certain division of Air Force Aviation.

In the flight program design of Shenzhou VII's extravehicular activity, various constraints such as orbit, ground measurement and control, energy balance, attitude control and space environment adaptability were considered, and the resources of the spacecraft were rationally optimized and allocated.

Design a program platform with on-orbit flight to support extravehicular activities. On this basis, according to the astronauts' physiological condition and the working state of the extravehicular spacesuit, the operation items of the astronauts during flight are arranged, and the automatic control program on board is generated, so that the automatic control of the spacecraft and the manual operation items of the astronauts can be matched and coordinated.

At the same time, Shenzhou VII loaded the first user data terminal system of China relay satellite system and conducted the first data transmission test of China ground data relay system.
