Introduction to Quadrant Cardinality

The quadrant (Quadrans Muralis) is located between the right foot of the Five Immortals, the shepherd's left hand and the Dragon Star, and does not belong to one of the modern 88 constellations. The quadrant meteor shower was discovered more than 70 years ago. Compared with meteor showers such as Leo and Gemini, its laws and characteristics are still unknown. This meteor shower is considered to be one of the three most active meteor showers every year. The maximum hourly zenith discharge (ZHR) can reach more than 200, which is a medium-speed meteor shower and is very suitable for radio radar observation.
