Who has a higher position in China's history circle, Zi Tong Zhi Jian or Shi Ji? Which book is better to read?

As a mirror from the same sources and Historical Records are twin constellations of China's historiography, and there is no competitive relationship between them. Sima Qian is like Li Bai in poetry, romantic, sonorous and elegant, while Sima Guang is like Lao Du in poetry, and Chen Yu is frustrated and doesn't care about carving. China people attach importance to emotional appeal and strangeness, and despise tactics; "Historical Records" is small, "Tong Jian" is big. Treat people and things in a way that is king. More people should really read the Purple Tongzhi Sword. Recently, Wuhan University has a course focusing on history, culture and leadership strategy, and invited Professor Zhang Guogang from Tsinghua University. Even well-known universities have specially set up this course, which shows its status.
