It is not a story of fighting and killing like other Wulin, but a story of growing up. I think this role is quite challenging.

Wang Shasha: Yes, I left home when I was nine. I live in Handan, attend martial arts school in Xingtai, and come back to accompany my mother for a few days a month. My mother used to do business in Shanxi. I started studying in Shanxi and later came to Handan. I kept going back and forth, and I didn't feel anything. I went to martial arts school because my uncle's children went to this school, which is quite famous and has more film and television opportunities. I like this major very much. At that time, I had just finished filming Private Zhang Ga, and the director of Private Zhang Ga seemed to have a good relationship with Buddhism and Taoism and recommended me to Shangdao. Then I went to the interview and signed it at that time. At first, he didn't believe me and repeatedly asked our deputy director, "Are you sure this child can act in this play?" I asked many times.

Wang Shasha: Yes, why is Wulin recognized by the audience? Besides being a good director, a good screenwriter and a good actor, we all get along well. I don't think it would be so successful if we didn't have a good personal relationship or if everyone didn't unite. Our director said that The Legend of the Wulin should not only have comedy, funny and amusing things, but also have affection and friendship. We are very good in private and care about each other. It takes two or three hours to get to downtown Beijing by car from the mountain. Besides filming, I just look at the mountains and trees all day. Our boss keeps many small animals. Our only entertainment on the mountain is to feed cats, dogs and monkeys.
