Ye Peng was born in a family of Peking Opera. He studied the art of Peking Opera with his father since childhood, and began to perform since childhood, laying the foundation for later learning cross talk and singing. I have a wide range of personal hobbies, such as guqin, calligraphy, Chinese painting, martial arts, model making, Taoist culture, Yijing and so on.

Junior high school began to have a strong interest in cross talk, and then began to learn cross talk performances. The university studied at Beijing Institute of Technology. During my college years, I set up a Quyi Club in my school, often organizing cross talk performances and performing with new actors.

After graduating from college, I never gave up studying cross talk. After working with my partner, I gave full play to my characteristics of being good at learning to sing, and I was good at performing "legs and feet", such as "Yellow Crane Tower", "Catch and Release Cao Cao" and "Gong Duxun Girl".

Mr. Wang Qianxiang broke away from convention and took him and Li Yinfei as disciples, becoming closed disciples. Because of its popular performance style, clear mind on the stage and proper hand-holding point, it inherits Li Zengrui's hand-holding style and complements Li Yinfei.
