There is such an expert in the field of blast furnace ironmaking in Chongqing, who led the team to overcome key technical problems such as top distributor, developed a large-scale domestic bell-less top system technology with international advanced level, successfully broke through the technical blockade of foreign companies for more than 40 years, broke the monopoly pattern of foreign products and filled the domestic technical gap. Committed to researching and breaking foreign technology monopoly 1980, Zheng Jun was born in Nanchong, Sichuan. In 2003, he entered the State Key Laboratory of Mechanical Transmission of Chongqing University, focusing on mechanical design and theoretical direction. After graduating from Ph.D. in 2008, Zheng Jun joined MCC CCID Company.

"In order to break the monopoly of foreign companies on bell-less top technology and enhance the competitiveness of MCC CCID in the global ironmaking market, MCC CCID has organized a team to conduct bell-less top research and development since 2006. When I first entered the company, I was lucky enough to join this team. At that time, I was full of enthusiasm and felt that what I did was very meaningful. " Zheng Jun recalled.

Although he is a newcomer in the workplace, Zheng Jun has strong learning ability and research ability, and has a strong sense of "dissatisfaction" with knowledge. He carefully studied all kinds of information about bell-less stoves at home and abroad, from books to piles of files, and actively discussed with experts and colleagues. In order to speed up the development of the distributor, the core equipment of the furnace top, in 2009, MCC CCID formed a distributor research team together with domestic steel enterprises and manufacturing enterprises, and developed a new distributor with independent intellectual property rights for Baosteel Zhanjiang project. Young Zheng Jun joined this project as the team leader of the company's Bell-less top equipment research project and became the core force of this work. On May 20 10, the key project of distributor officially entered the stage of test platform construction. Since then, Zheng Jun has been stationed at the project site for nearly two years. He took the initiative to take a holiday and rest, and overtime is commonplace. In the end, he led the team to cooperate with his brothers to overcome key technical problems such as top distributor and high-precision control, and developed a new domestic bell-less top system technology with international advanced level, which broke the monopoly pattern of foreign products, cleared away one of the key obstacles affecting the technological competitiveness of China's blast furnace to go overseas, and set a technical benchmark for the localization of key equipment of China's blast furnace. The research results won the China Patent Excellence Award, the second prize of Metallurgical Science and Technology Award and the first prize of China Metallurgical Science and Technology Invention Award.

In recent years, the state encourages qualified enterprises to "go global". In order to actively respond to the "Belt and Road Initiative", Zheng Jun, together with other team members, actively promoted the technological achievements of super-large blast furnaces in China to go overseas. Along the Belt and Road, nán in Vietnam, India and other countries have exported six super-large blast furnaces, including 4,350 m3 blast furnaces in Formosa Ha Tinh Steel Plant in Vietnam, 5,873 m3 blast furnaces in Tata TSK Steel Plant, 4,323 m3 blast furnaces in JSWDOLVI Steel Plant in India and 5,250 m3 blast furnaces in ArcelorMittal AMKR Steel Plant, accounting for more than 60% of similar blast furnaces newly built overseas in recent five years. As the main person in charge of the project and the professional person in charge, Zheng Jun completed Baosteel Zhanjiang Blast Furnace Project, which is one of the most advanced blast furnaces in the world, with the best production index and the most competitive blast furnace, and has become a new benchmark for the global super-large blast furnace project. As a project manager, I undertook the 5,873 cubic meters blast furnace project of T-Tower TSK Steel Plant in India, which is a new blast furnace project with the largest furnace capacity in the world at present, breaking the long-term monopoly of European and American countries on the Indian blast furnace market and further consolidating China's leading position in the world's large blast furnace technology.

It is not smooth sailing to go abroad and push the technological achievements of China's super-large blast furnace overseas. What Zheng Jun still remembers is the ISDEMIR hot blast stove project in Turkey.

"As early as 20 12, a domestic engineering company built a 2500m3 blast furnace for Isdemir and put it into operation. However, due to engineering quality problems, the owner lacked trust in China Engineering Company." When receiving this project at that time, Zheng Jun felt unprecedented pressure. In his view, it is more difficult for owners to rebuild their trust in China Engineering Company than ever before.

In order to fully understand the owner's needs, Zheng Jun read nearly 100 pages of English inquiry book again and again, and the key chapters such as process requirements, project delivery, itemized description of equipment and materials were all filled with analysis and comments. In just a few days, the brand-new printing paper became rough and yellow due to sweat and handwriting, and he knew the needs of his master.

Under his leadership, the scheme put forward by MCC CCID found a new way, which not only showed the owner the in-depth interpretation of MCC CCID technicians' needs, but also reflected the technical ability of MCC CCID that the owner thought. It is this respect for the host's starting point that finally won the host's affirmation. Subsequently, Zheng Jun led the team to pursue victory in the Turkish market. With the deepening of development work, Turkey has become a strategic place for MCC CCID to further explore markets in Europe, Japan and the Middle East.

No pains, no gains. Now, Zheng Jun and his team export related core technologies and equipment to South Korea, Indonesia, Malaysia, Turkey, Brazil and other countries, and promote the transformation of China's super-large blast furnace technology from import to overseas export.

Set an example and do a good job of "teaching and educating people and helping others". A single flower is not spring, and a hundred flowers bloom in spring. In Zheng Jun's view, the success of a project is always inseparable from the joint efforts of the powerful team behind it.

On one occasion, the day before the report, Zheng Jun found that there might be two problems in PPT, and he immediately discussed and demonstrated with the experts in the department. After the plan was confirmed, he worked overtime to revise the report materials until four in the morning.
