As the western philosopher Kant said:

Man is actually rational, so he exists because he is an end, not a tool of this or that will.

However, on the surface, the pursuit of sensory satisfaction will lead to excessive development of people's feelings and desires, and people will gradually become slaves of this or that unsatisfied will, fighting for desires and foreign objects, and finally become obese, while their real self will almost suffocate.

Generally speaking, this state is that people lose themselves in material desires, and in the end, they have lost their "initial heart". This is also the main reason why some people live a poor and happy life in a mean alley, while others live in a cage of a rich family.
