Small method of making fabric lampshade

Materials: light-colored pigment cloth, old big bed sheet cloth, soft pencil, old oil painting pen, clean old toothbrush, soft linen cloth or drawer cloth.

1, find a light-colored pigment cloth as a lampshade, such as unbleached cotton cloth (this kind of cloth is safer as a lampshade). Draw an outline on the lampshade with a pencil and mark the dividing line of different colors.

2. Use oil painting strokes and leave an unpainted dividing line for different colors. If you are used to doing things with your right hand, color counterclockwise, otherwise use clockwise. This will prevent you from soiling the paint.

3. After all the colors are filled in, use a clean old toothbrush dipped in oil paint to re-smear, so that the colors can fully penetrate into all parts of the lampshade. Refer to Step 2 for exercise.

4. After repainting, gently wipe off the excess pigment on the lampshade with a soft linen cloth or drawer cloth, and put the lampshade in a warm place to dry overnight.

5. When the background color of the lampshade is completely dry, draw a circle pattern on the background color of the lampshade with the oil-colored pen used the day before. The color of the dots should be opposite to the background color, then put the lampshade in a warm place to dry and use it the next day.
