It is the historical duty of every citizen of China to be familiar with our national flag and national emblem.

First of all, the origin of the national flag: the national flag we are using now is called the five-star red flag, which was designed by Mr. Zeng in July 1949 and submitted to the leaders for approval. Among them, red symbolizes revolution; The five stars are yellow, which symbolizes that China people are yellow. Then there is the origin of the national emblem: under the recommendation of Liang Sicheng, the design of the national emblem was standardized by Gaozhuang, high flyers, Tsinghua University at that time, and improved on the basis of predecessors. The national emblem, like the national flag, also represents the efforts and sacrifices made by all classes under our leadership since the May 4th Movement when the new China was born. It embodies the unique national color and tradition of the Chinese nation, which is both solemn and rich.

New National Emblem Law: Like I's new National Emblem Law, the new National Emblem Law also formally and clearly stipulates the occasion and purpose of its use, preventing merchants from abusing the National Emblem for marketing activities in other places and ensuring the sanctity of the National Emblem. The new national emblem law stipulates:

The national emblem and its design shall not be used for:

(1) Trademarks, designs granted patent rights and commercial advertisements;

(2) furnishings and arrangements for daily necessities and daily life;

(3) private celebrations and hanging activities;

(four) other occasions when the General Office of the State Council stipulates that the national emblem and its pattern shall not be used.

In short, the promulgation of the national emblem and the national flag law has also improved our use of both.
