Shawn kemp's introduction

Shawn kemp (1969165438+1October 26th) was born in Elkhart, Indiana, USA. He is a former American professional basketball player and power forward, nicknamed "Rain Man". In the NBA draft of 1989, Kemp was selected by the seattle supersonics team as a high school student with the 17 pick. His career has played for seattle supersonics, Cleveland Cavaliers, Portland Trailblazers and Orlando Magic. 1993- 1997 was selected as an NBA all-star team. 1994 was selected into the American Dream Team II and won the gold medal in the World Basketball Championship with the team. In 2003, Kemp announced his retirement.
