Teaching facilities in Tianjin No.55 Middle School

The two campuses of the school cover an area of 26 mu, and there are two teaching buildings, a comprehensive building, an experimental building, an office building, a multi-functional ladder classroom that can accommodate more than 300 people, two modern libraries with books/kloc-0.5 million volumes and more than 40,000 e-books. The school is equipped with four multimedia classrooms, four teachers' electronic lesson preparation rooms, two electronic reading rooms, and 1 music and art classroom, all of which are equipped with air conditioning. The school has set up a Gigabit campus network with Dawning TC 1700 rack server system with load balancing function as the core, realizing optical fiber connection with WAN and multimedia in classrooms. At present, No.55 Middle School has been included in the second batch of demonstration high school construction plan by the Municipal Education Commission, and the new school building of the general school covers an area of about 55 mu after completion. The construction of demonstration high schools will certainly promote the rapid development of No.55 Middle School and Constellation Middle School.
