Michael Joseph Jackson (August 29th, 2009,1958–June 25th, 2009), known as the "King of Pop Music", is an American musician and one of the most successful and influential artists in business all the time. His unique contributions to music and dance, as well as his highly open personal life, made him an outstanding figure in pop culture for forty years.

He debuted with his brothers at 1964, and as the lead singer and the youngest member of jackson 5, he started a successful solo career at 197 1. His 1982 album Thriller is still the best-selling album of all time, including Off the Wall (1979), Bad (1987) and Danger (199/kloc-0. He is widely regarded as transforming music videos from a propaganda tool into an art form. The videos of his songs "Billie Jean", "Beat It" and "Thriller" made him the first African-American artist with strong cross followers on MTV. Through stage performances and music videos, Jackson popularized many dance techniques with complicated bodies, such as robots and moonwalking. His unique musical voice, vocal style and choreography inspired countless pop, rock, R & ampb and hip-hop artists, but also broke the barriers of culture, race and generation.

As one of the few artists who have been selected into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame twice, his other achievements include many Guinness World Records-including "the most successful artist of all time"-13 Grammy Awards, 22 American Music Awards (20 as solo artists, including one "artist of the century"), 17 champion singles (including being a member of jackson 5). He is also a famous philanthropist and humanitarian, and has donated and raised millions of dollars by supporting 39 charities and his own Save the World Foundation.

Jackson's personal life has caused controversy for many years. Since the late 1970s, his ever-changing appearance has attracted people's attention, and the changes of his nose and skin color have attracted the attention of the media.
