Who are the most overrated famous players in China's history? Is Han Xin overrated?

There are too many famous soldiers in the history of China. Most of them were the most outstanding generals of their time. A person who can be called a famous star always has various achievements, strategies and abilities to prove it. The star who is seriously overestimated here does not mean that he is not a famous star, but is overestimated, or directly mythical, divorced from reality and not so real.

In the history of China, four famous soldiers were seriously overestimated. Let's talk about why they are seriously overvalued.

First, Han Xin, a soldier, said that Han Xin was seriously overvalued. It is estimated that many people will strongly oppose it. First of all, it must be explained that Han Xin was indeed a famous soldier, ranking the top two generals in military capability in the late Qin Dynasty and early Han Dynasty, second only to Xiang Yu. But Han Xin has always been a myth in history, and it is said that he became the most capable soldier fairy in the history of China.

You know, Han Xin's title of soldier fairy was given to Han Xin by a lesser-known scholar in the Ming Dynasty. This man is Mao Kun. He called Han Xin a soldier fairy in Historical Records, and later Han Xin was called a soldier fairy by later generations. In the Yuan Dynasty, traditional Chinese opera prevailed, and the dramatists or singers put many deeds of the late Qin Dynasty and the early Han Dynasty on Han Xin's head and gave Han Xin myths.

Han Xin personally participated in only six Chu-Han wars, namely: Jing-Suo War, Wei War, Dai War, Zhao War (the last war), Qi War (including Wei-Shui War that killed Long Qie) and Gaixia War.

Han Xin only participated in the battle of Beijing-Suo, not a leading figure, not even the main force. The main force is Liu Bang's newly formed cavalry. Because the Chu army defeated Liu with elite cavalry in the battle of Pengcheng, Liu Bang also realized the importance of cavalry and formed Langzhong cavalry to fight against Xiang Yu's cavalry.

Wei, Dai, Zhao (the last battle) and Qi Four Wars (including the battle of Wei Shui killing Long Qie) are all classic battles led by Han Xin. In the battle of Wei, Han Xin made a diversion, crossed the river with a wooden urn, and defeated Wei Bao. The battle of Dai is unknown, and there is only one generation of history books. The Battle of Zhao was the classic last battle, and Han Xin sacrificed Li in the Battle of Qi.

In the Battle of Weishui, Long Qie blocked the water with sandbags in the upstream, pretended to be defeated in the downstream to lure the enemy into battle, and then let the upstream arrange water release, so that Long Qie was drowned by the current and died. The Battle of Gaixia Han Xin, as a striker, has joined hands with the governors of the world to form an encirclement of Xiang Yu in Liu Bang's place, and defeated Xiang Yu with absolute superiority.

Some people say that Han Xin's enemy is Xiang Yu, so he is the man with the strongest historical and military ability. But in the whole Chu-Han War, except for the Battle of Gaixia, Han Xin never met Xiang Yu once. In the four-year Chu-Han War, Liu Bang fought against Xiang Yu at the front, and Han Xin was no match. In the Battle of Gaixia, Han Xin lost to Xiang Yu in the first battle.

As we all know in history, there is no such thing as "bedding", which was put on Han Xin by people in the Yuan Dynasty. It is also determined that there is no record of Han Xin in the book of the history of the war of Sanqin, and Han Xin was present at the battle of Pengcheng, but Liu Bang did not reuse Han Xin, and the responsibility for failure lies with Liu Bang. The embattled Battle of Gaixia was not Han Xin's plan, and there was no house of flying daggers in history.

Han Xin's life is too perfect to be true. For example, Zeng Guofan questioned that the dragon was killed in the battle of Weishui. Zeng Guofan said this:

Sandbags return water, but they can leak from the bottom and overflow from the side. Since it is not a construction project, it is impossible to build a big weir. If the width of the river rises, it will be difficult to stop it. If its small port is small and flowing, it is easy to stop and decide, then it is not impossible to cross the river after the decision. Neither of them can be trusted. If sandbags are used to block water, there will still be water leakage below and water will overflow next to it. Only by hiring a large number of migrant workers can we succeed, otherwise it is impossible to build dikes. Moreover, blocking the waterway will cut off the downstream water flow, which is difficult to do if it meets the wide water surface where the flood surges. It is also difficult to open the dam and release water. If it is a small tributary, it is easy to block and burst, and it is not easy to wade through after the burst.

Zeng Guofan also doubted the authenticity of Han Xin's wooden urn crossing the river. How many people can a wooden urn hold? Zeng Guofan can only spend two or three hundred people in terms of area. You know, there are at least 10,000 troops crossing the river in Han Xin. How many wooden urns were used? In terms of the conditions at that time, where did it come from? This is crossing the Yellow River.

No matter how true these things are, Historical Records is a faithful history after all. I have two questions. First, is Han Xin's opponent too weak? Second, is it too short for Han Xin to fight all his life?

Han Xin's opponents are: Wei Bao, Xia Shuo, Chen Yu, Wang Qi, Tian Guang and Long Qie. These people have one thing in common, that is, they have insufficient strategies or even no strategies. Playing Wei Bao is simply a diversion and crossing the river with a wooden urn. Fighting Chen Yu is a seemingly very low-level tactic, just like the last battle. Anyone with a little brains knows that Han Xin has a successful opponent, but Chen Yu can't see it.

As for Han Xin's attack on Tian Guang, the King of Qi, it was a sneak attack, and Han Xin's defeat of Long Min was also a move. None of Han Xin's opponents are good at tricks, and the only Li Zuoche has not been used by Chen Yu, so Han Xin's opponent is weak, not that Han Xin is bad, but that his opponent's weakness has created the myth of Han Xin. What will happen if Han Xin meets opponents like Xiang Yu, Sean, Chen Ping and Li Zuoche? No one can say for sure.

Second, Han Xin's fighting life is too short. After the Battle of Pengcheng, Han Xin led the army to fight alone. Han Xin led the army to fight for three years. Time is too short. You can see that Tian Lei has been fighting for at least 37 years. After a long time, you can meet all kinds of opponents and you can see how good you are. Even Han Xin, a weak rival, took advantage of it for a while. If Han Xin fights for a long time, he can see the true level, which is a pity.

It is all right to say that Han Xin is a first-class star in history, a master of strategy, and a super-class general in the late Qin Dynasty and early Han Dynasty, but if Han Xin is the most powerful general in the history of China, I think it is seriously overestimated.

Second, the flying general Li Guang was a very famous general in the Western Han Dynasty. He is a veteran of three dynasties. He was called General Fei after the three generations of Wen, Jing and Wu. Li Guang's bravery in fighting was recognized at that time, and many frustrated literati in later generations also liked to write Li Guang into their poems. For example, there is a poem named after Li Guang:

Li is not a defender, and filial piety cannot be accepted. The king didn't forget to fight, so why did he treat the high emperor Wan Huhou? Some people say that the flying general in the following poem refers to Li Guang:

It is still the moon and border pass in Qin and Han dynasties, and the enemy has fought a protracted war. If Wei Qing, who attacked Longcheng, and Li Guang, the flying general, were alive today, the Huns would not be allowed to go south to spend their horses in Yinshan. Actually, it is not. The flying generals in this poem refer to all generals who defend the country against foreign enemies and guard the border. This is a general term, not a specific term. The flight here will include generals like Wei Qing, Li Guang and Huo Qubing, and all other generals guarding the border.

Biography of Historical Records of Li Guang is a unique biography. Even General Wei Qing and General Huo Qubing, a title of generals in ancient times, became one. Li Guang played bravely. He once stopped thousands of tarkan with hundreds of cavalry, strategy and courage. Li Guang was once captured by the Huns, escaped alone and returned to the Han Dynasty. The border guarded by Li Guang will not be breached by the Huns.

In fact, Li Guang is a general who is seriously overrated. The main reason is that Li Guang has never won a decent victory in his life. This is also the reason why he has not been blocked in his life. Li Guang has been defeated almost all his life. During the reign of Emperor Wen of Han Dynasty, Li Guang was still a doctor and often took the lead. He was very brave to cut off the enemy's head on the battlefield, but he didn't record any special achievements.

During the reign of Emperor Jing of Han Dynasty, Li Guang took over the banner of the rebels, which was a great achievement. However, Li Guang accepted Liang Wang's reward privately and made a mistake in principle. Emperor Han Jing didn't reward Li Guang. During the period of Emperor Wu of Han Dynasty, Li Guang led 10,000 cavalry into the grassland to fight against Xiongnu for the first time. As a result, Li was completely annihilated, and he was also captured, and later escaped.

Li Guang and Zhang Qian agreed to fight Xiongnu together, but Li Guang met the main force of Xiongnu. When the two sides were at war, Li Guang concentrated all his forces, and the Huns suffered heavy casualties and were tied. Li Guang and General Wei Qing went to war, but because they got lost, they didn't make any meritorious military service, and finally committed suicide. This is Li Guang's life. He didn't win a large-scale battle, so he is a star who is seriously overestimated.

Third, Lu Bu Lu Bu is a mythical figure in The Romance of the Three Kingdoms. The Romance of the Three Kingdoms and the game set in the Three Kingdoms made Lu Bu the first famous player in the Three Kingdoms. What three wars in Britain and six generals in Cao Ying, Lu Bu, are fictional novels. The real Lyu3 bu4 in history is a seriously overrated general.

In history, Lu Bu did have riding and shooting ability, but it was not recorded. Lyu3 bu4 can stand out by opportunism. When Lu Bu followed Ding Yuan, he killed Ding Yuan and took refuge in Dong Zhuo. Then he secretly joined forces with Wang Yun to kill Dong Zhuo and became the general of Fenwu in the Han Dynasty. He was given the right to seal Hou and have a holiday, relying on the equality of the three fairs, and was also in power with Wang Yun, with high status and power.

On the one-on-one hit, the only time recorded in the official history of the Three Kingdoms, Lu Bu defeated Guo Si. In terms of combat power, Lu Bu is very pitiful. When he was under Dong Zhuo, Lu Bu was defeated by Sun Jian twice, once in the battle of Yang people and once in Luoyang, and Lu Bu was no match for Sun Jian. While defending Chang 'an, Lu Bu was defeated by Li Jue and Guo Si and fled in a mess.

Chen Gong Mars Lu Bu occupied more than 70 cities in Yanzhou. As a result, it was defeated by Cao Cao, who had only three cities in two or three years. Lyu3 bu4 charged but was completely defeated by Cao Cao, and finally ended up being killed. The only victory in Lu Bu's life was to take refuge in Yuan Shao and defeat Zhang Yan of the Black Mountain Army. This is a group of peasant insurgents.

This is all the wars in Lu Bu's life. Influenced by the Romance of the Three Kingdoms, many people regard Lu Bu as the first official in the official history of the Three Kingdoms, which is seriously overestimated. Compared with military ability, Lu Bu is not in the top ten in the official history of the Three Kingdoms.

Fourth, Zhou Yu said that Zhou Yu was a famous soldier in the Three Kingdoms, but that Zhou Yu's military ability was stronger than that of Cao Cao and Zhuge Liang was overestimated. Although Zhou Yu defeated Cao Cao in Battle of Red Cliffs, it doesn't mean that Zhou Yu's military ability is better than Cao Cao's.

Before Battle of Red Cliffs, Zhou Yu basically fought side by side with Sun Ce, and there was no record of fighting alone. After Sun Ce defeated Lu You, Zhou Yu was asked to guard Danyang, and then there was basically no war until Sun Ce died. After Sun Quan ascended the throne, Zhou Yu sent troops to attend the funeral, and then he stayed with Sun Quan to take charge of the military.

Six years later, Zhou Yu and Sun Quan's cousin, Sun Yu, led an army to crusade against Ma and Bao 'ertun and captured more than 10,000 people. Later, he fought against Huang Zu and captured Deng Long, the general of Huang Zu. In 208, Sun Quan recruited Huang Zu and Zhou Yu as the former commander-in-chief, which was equivalent to the front line. The generals who fought at the front are Ling Tong, Dong and others. Finally, Wu Dongjun defeated and killed Huang Zu.

The decisive battle between Battle of Red Cliffs, Zhou Yu and Lu Su coincided with Sun Quan, who ordered Zhou Yu and Wei to lead 30,000 troops to meet them, plus 20,000 men from Liu Bei and Liu Qi, 50,000 men from Sun Liu's allied army, and Battle of Red Cliffs was Huang Gai's scheme of cheating and fire. Zhou Yu adopted it and successfully defeated Cao Cao.

Then there was the battle of South County. Gan Ning proposed to capture Yiling first and then surround Jiangling City. Zhou Yu adopted it. Coss sent troops to besiege Yiling, and Gan Ning was in distress. At this time, the generals hesitated. Lv Meng suggested that Ling Tong stay, and Zhou Yu and Cheng Pu went to save Gan Ning in person. Then he suggested sending someone to cut off the mountain road with firewood to stop the enemy cavalry. Zhou Yu adopted Lv Meng's suggestion.

Zhou Yu and Coss agreed on a decisive battle. Zhou Yu personally appeared in front of the battle line and was shot in the right rib by a flowing arrow. As the commander-in-chief of the whole army, it is inconceivable to be shot by the enemy. Generals who often fight are well aware of the range of the enemy's bows and arrows. Even if the enemy attacks, doesn't the Lord make any sense? This is Zhou Yu's serious mistake. You know, if anything happens to the commander, the morale of Sun Liu's allied forces will definitely be lost, which will affect the outcome of the whole war.

When you look at the details of the battle between Battle of Red Cliffs and Nanjun, you will find that all Zhou Yu's victories are based on the advice of his generals, which inevitably makes people wonder, what is Zhou Yu's own level? Why do you rely on your employees for advice? Don't you have any strategy? Of course, it is no problem to make decisions only as commanders, but Cheng Pu and Zhou Yu were divided into governors at that time and their status was equal, but Zhou Yu's prestige was higher.

Besides, the person who gave Zhou Yu advice was not a counselor, but a general in the army. It is normal for an adviser to give advice and the master to make decisions like Cao Cao, but Zhou Yu's performance in this respect is invisible. He was shot seriously by the enemy for the first time as the master. This is a serious mistake.

Another thing, Zhou Yu's life span is very short. After the war in Nanjun, Zhou Yu put forward the suggestion of taking Yizhou, which was a very bold and radical military action and unrealistic. Zhou Yu can't take Yizhou without dealing with Liu Bei's problem, and Yizhou is not as good as expected. If Zhou Yu lived a few more years, he would know how his military level was. Unfortunately, Zhou Yu died at the age of 36.

Judging from various indications, Zhou Yu's military level is far from that of Cao Cao, and he is not as good as Zhuge Liang and Lu Xun. To say that Zhou Yu is the top level of the three countries, I personally disagree. It seems that Zhou Yu is more like an overrated star.
